It’s a Strike! The New Bowl for Kids Calgary Website is Live

bowlforkids-calgary-website-designWe are pleased to announce that Web Candy/Blue Ocean Interactive is proudly sponsoring this year’s Bowl for Kids Calgary fundraising event. This annual bowl-a-thon presented by the Stampede City Progress Club raises funds for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area. The event has traditionally provided the largest source of funding for the BBBS.

Our team created a custom web design to showcase the event’s many offerings which include theme nights, the potential to win event prizes and tons of fun while raising funds for the BBBS. Teams can register online and download pledge forms from the site as well as plan which nights they would like to attend.

Teams consist of five members – friends, family, co-workers - and there is no cost to register. You simply commit to raising a minimum of $100 in pledges to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary.

We’ve created a mobile responsive web design that allows visitors to easily navigate throughout the site. They can easily access a wealth of free online resources which include audio tracks and videos to achieve mindfulness. We also removed all previous 3rd party plugins and instead, installed an events booking and newsletter component, making for easier site administration all in the same CMS.

Practical Wellbeing offers programs that help to bring mindfulness to our everyday lives. These workshops help to ease body and mind in ways that are both practical and long lasting.

Our web development team custom designed the website, building a functional CMS that allows Christine the ability to easily update and upload content onto the site herself. We also incorporated Pay Pal functionality, enabling website users to purchase sleep consultation packages directly from the website.
